Description
Jump Aero has partnered with Oklahoma State University to develop an unmanned aircraft specifically to calibrate airport Instrument Landing Systems (ILS) for the FAA and DoD. In this Phase I project, Oklahoma State University will demonstrate the utility of a sensor payload capable of calibrating ILS systems on a commercial off the shelf drone platform. In parallel, Jump Aero will mature through Critical Design Review (CDR) an integrated UAS platform capable of carrying the payload for this mission that meets manned aviation design standards and has speed, range, and reliability that more closely align with mission needs.
