Description
In this project, we will develop a voice authentication (VA), voice command and control (VC2), and sound detection and identification (SID) solution for increased usability and interoperability with the Android Team Awareness Kit (ATAK) and enhanced security of Air Force applications with mobile devices. During Phase I, we will develop the roadmap, robust algorithms, approaches to VA, VC2, and SID. We will address the challenges, such as noisy tactical environments, limited training time for speaker-dependent VA, and limited computation resources on offline mobile devices. We will develop specific solution to address all the challenges. In the end of Phase I, we will provide a live demonstration of VA on a smartphone and report database evaluation results on VA, VC2 and SID to show the capability to develop and deliver a solution to meet Air Force requirements through Phase I and Phase II research and development.
