Description
To meet the demands of the AF212-0006 “W-Band Anti-Jam Receiver,” the MaXentric / ARS team proposes the WARRIORS (W-band Array Receiver Resisting Interferences of Regional SATCOM), which provides a W-band anti-jamming receiver including antenna and front-end components. The receiver has low noise, high dynamic range and high resistance to interfering signals using filtering and other techniques for jammer mitigation. During Phase I, the team will design an innovative 81-86 GHz block down converter receiver that are resistant to jamming, and validate design through modeling and simulation. The developed system will be to be utilized for geostationary earth orbit (GEO) satellite communication (SATCOM) applications, where components used in the system should accept the requirements for GEO payloads. Toward Phase II proposal, the team will make a plan for developing and demonstrating prototypes of W-band anti-jamming receiver for novel large capacity communication link.
