Description
Mattermost is proposing to take our industry-best messaging platform into the TAK ecosystem to overhaul the native chat function and deliver a secure, enterprise-quality capability into the hands of the 350,000 users of TAK. By working closely with the TAK Product Center and AFRL’s Information Directorate, Mattermost can design, develop, and integrate a messaging plug-in that will significantly improve distributed collaboration to enhance warfighter efficiency, safety, and accuracy. The Mattermost platform, deployed into the TAK ecosystem while still being tied into enterprise-level systems, will not only improve situational awareness for operators on the edge, but also bring a marked improvement to the decision-making capabilities of a connected chain of command. This Phase II presents a significant opportunity to increase the utility of the TAK platform and accelerate the “Chat 2.0” target on the TAK Product Center’s technical roadmap.
