Description

Parraid is excited to provide this Outside with Linux (O.W.L) concept proposal to the Navy in support of a direct to Phase II Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) effort. The resulting prototype will provide data interfaces and data connections with legacy systems that are taxing end user devices and edge computing systems. The resulting prototype will provide the users with a low Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP) computing solution.  The added benefit to our novel approach is that we will pass not only data but we will be able to support the distribution of power to attached devices. Current systems used today leave power distribution and data distribution for separate devices and cable sets.  Our concept will combine power and data distribution in one device which will allow less capable modern field computing to achieve Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) goals and vision with less hardware. The prototype will provide the government with a  new platform that will allow for future growth and new capability and situational awareness.
