Description
Shared Spectrum Company (SSC), the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) and Parsons Corporation (Parsons) propose to develop and demonstrate an innovative method (Figure 1) for of low altitude Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) to obtain information on spectrum use and activities with low operator workload. The system minimizes human interaction while autonomously compensating for mission changes. The system has collective UAV behaviors that are controlled by multi-hypothesis engine. The system has low processing power and low communications bandwidth so that it can support a large number (~50) of UAVs.
