Description
Spectral Sciences, Inc. proposes to extend the existing suite of simulation tools, currently optimized for boost-glide configurations, and apply the suite for hypersonic cruise missile signature prediction. In Phase I, we will integrate missing physical models and demonstrate feasibility of the approach by applying the prototype code to select problems. The feasibility demonstration will provide a clear path for further hardening and enhancements of the suite during Phase II. The proposed approach is based on several innovative capabilities, which enable end-to-end prediction of the hypersonic environment and resulting signature across relevant trajectories for 3D vehicle shapes using high-fidelity models.
