Description
Sunbelt proposes to expand the Small Business Manufacturer (SBM) base for various items without drawings managed by the DLA. Sunbelt will leverage the DLA RPPOB program to reverse engineer sample parts. Sunbelt will research the manufacturing processes and materials for the subset of 7 items in the NSN list for this SBIR. Sunbelt will develop models and drawings for the items, price the materials and processes, and determine cost drivers. We conditionally expect to submit 7 SAR packages under this proposal, and expand the items under Phase II. Sunbelt has over 30 years of experience manufacturing spare parts and support equipment to legacy drawings. Sunbelt has researched all 35 NSNs associated with this topic to develop this proposal.
