Description
Shield AI proposes the development and demonstration of a Common AI Autonomy Core “AI Brain” that can be deployed on both legacy and emerging weapon systems enabling AI powered networked, collaborative, autonomous (NCA) munitions. In addition, Shield AI plans to independently develop a physical common AI Autonomy Processing Module to host the Autonomy Core and AI behaviors on legacy compute limited systems. The Autonomy Module will be developed using Shield AI internal R&D funds and is not specifically part of this proposal. Neither of these two products exist in the market today for weapon systems.
