Description
In parallel with the research and development activities being performed under a Phase II project titled "Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Provenance Solution" (contract # SP4701-22-C-0002), Supply Dynamics will pursue FedRAMP JAB Authorization for the underlying SDX software platform (which is deployed in a SaaS model). FedRAMP Authorization will allow the Pharmaceutical Provenance Solution (PPS), which is built on the foundation of SDX, to be deployable for operational use by Troop Support, the DLA, or any other agency or government entity that needs it. Other high priority applications that have been identified and that would similarly require FedRAMP approval include: mapping, tracking and tracing of metals, electronics, rare earth metals, castings, forgings, electronics and other strategic materials. While SDX is already capable of storing Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), no sensitive or controlled DoD data will be loaded in the solution during the initial Phase II. All data loaded in the system that is captured under that project is publicly available. Supply Dynamics will generate reports and analytics according to specifications provided by the customer. This “service bureau” approach will permit the customer to derive immediate value from the PPS until the full FedRAMP Authorization has been achieved.
