Description
Triton Systems, Inc. will demonstrate a 3-part solution to food and plastic waste problems at military bases both inside and outside the United States. The project will include solutions for handling both plastic and organic waste. Organic waste will be rapidly composted. Plastic waste will be repurposed using one of two methods, depending on size of the available plastic waste stream and the desired end product. All solutions will be scalable, transportable, and lead to a substantial reduction in waste being burned, buried, or transported to landfills. The project will include a thorough evaluation and full-scale demonstrations of each solution.
