Description
The objective is to deliver (12) SAL-UHP prototypes at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 7 to be used for demonstration in operational environments. The SAL-UHP prototype systems must provide the operator ability to illuminate 3 degree field of targets at 900m with a minimum high power output of 135 milliwatts (mW). Additionally the prototype systems must incorporate all good design practices for military systems including but not limited to minimizing size, weight, power, and snag hazards, incorporating ergonomic controls, and designing to System testing must be thorough, documented, and included with the prototype delivery.
