Windlift’s approach will be achieved through multiple steps, each step building on the next to achieve true Mission Based Forecasting (MBF).  MBF will enable leadership to make critical decisions on the battlefield in real time. This will allow logistics to be planned and executed at the speed of operational requirements, a feat not possible with the current processes and support systems. Our approach is not to replace the current ERP or the ERP on the horizon. Our platform is intended to build an intuitive real-time interface with the current ERP’s so the current system of record (SOR) can be maintained and enhanced. This will create a bridge between the current system and the future system, allowing the future system to benefit from mature and clean data. Data integrity is another top priority to us. As seen in the past, attempting to clean data of this magnitude is time consuming, expensive, and ineffective. Our approach is to create new, clean data in the LEEPFROG environment. By creating new, clean data, ML will have the best chance of succeeding. In addition, when enough clean data is collected, pre-existing inaccurate or “dirty” data can be identified and removed or corrected.
