Description
We will deliver a hyperscale, future-proof identity and authentication solution for internet connected devices, solving today’s scale, security, and privacy concerns. We address the logistical needs to be compatible with systems running conventional solutions today (automotive certificate infrastructures, server PKIs, 5G EAP-TLS authentication) by embedding new functionality in backwards compatible certificates, supporting mainstream protocols (SSH, TLS 1.3). R&D efforts focus in three core areas: Scaling mechanisms for an existing enclaved processor based verifier network (replacing conventional CA) to provide globally deployable fault tolerance with robustness to nation state actors, while supporting arbitrary scale and efficient revocation. Crypto-agile attested secure boot to enable secured remote upgrade to post-quantum cryptosystem post-deployment. Integrating IoT-optimized post-quantum crypto suite plus advanced research on ways to include anonymity and delegation to credentials
