Description
The Bihrle Applied Research Inc. (BAR)/Ohio State University (OSU) team intends to create a solution that addresses the need for developing preliminary Advanced/Urban Aerial mobility vehicle designs with efficiency. By developing programing interfaces and code to integrate open-source modeling-, CFD-, acoustic-, and optimization-algorithms, the BAR/OSU team will develop a Preliminary Design and Optimization Tool (ADAPT) that accounts for aerodynamic, performance, and acoustic characteristics. Upon completion of Phase I, the team will have a software design in place and have begun development with demonstration of the components of the solution.
