Description
CAL Analytics is proposing a feasibility study aimed at adapting our commercial UTM focused Contingency Management Platform (CMP) and Health & Integrity Monitoring System (HIMS) for Air Force AAM applications. This adaptation entails the incorporation of additional operational conditions into their monitoring purview, codifying the assessment logic of those conditions, and enabling automated or HITL contingency response actions. New conditions pertinent to AAM include onboard aircraft prognostics and ground control system status indicators. This study, conducted in partnership with Wright State Research Institute (WSRI), will utilize the Air Force Vigilant Spirit Control Station (VSCS) and associated aircraft as a proof of concept, but maintain broad commercial and Air Force applicability.
