Description

Intelligent power distribution that changes it’s protection level to match the actual load on the circuit frees up the unused portion of power for another circuit to use it. Intelligent power distribution that also changes its over current trip point and timing to match the type of load connected enhances protection to aircraft wiring and reduces potential for nuisance tripping. Bi-directional inverters moving excess capacity from one generator to another generator averages each to a similar load and reduces thermal stress and increases life and reliability. Bi-Directional ACDC converters that can temporarily convert power into DC and store it in a capacitor or battery and then return it later provides power factor (pf) correction. Generating only real power that is always an average and is the same across all generators creates the ideal environment for optimizing 100% loading of available power source capacity. If energy can be moved, converted and delivered to system loads with no losses then all that saved energy can be diverted to additional loads. The heat from those losses no longer require the environmental control system to remove it so the system gains even more available capacity.
