Description
A novel approach to a RF sensor is proposed. This RF sensor leverages the quantum properties of atoms to detect RF signals over a wide bandwidth, independent of the physical size of the receiver. This can significantly reduce size, weight and power consumption of communication equipment. Freedom Photonics has consistently demonstrated world class performance laser products that are critical to the performance of quantum sensors. The team will leverage their technical expertise in atomic sensor design and development and laser design and fabrication to enable the rapid development of this novel concept into a state-of-the-art tool for the aviation and aerospace industries.
