Description
BESPIN/Digital University has a national defense-related mission need in the area of Cybersecurity Training. Specifically, the to increase the ability of Airmen to write secure code in software applications in order to gain and maintain the U.S. technological edge in cyberspace is essential to maintaining mission readiness. HackEDU’s platform can increase Airmen’s abilities to identify, find and fix, and prevent vulnerabilities in code; enhance Airmen’s understanding of how hackers attack software systems; and further research and develop science principles for delivery of an interactive training prototype. The mission impact of this project on the Air Force and the Department of Defense will be ensuring the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of mission critical systems so that the warfighter maintains an advantage, especially over adversaries including China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea.
