Description
The Air Force (AF) has a need for agile software applications to support the commandONE program, which serves as the Command and Control (C2) component to its Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS). These systems need to accommodate future operational capabilities as well as support and improve utility from legacy Theater Air Control System (TACS) assets. Intelligent Artifacts’ overall Technical Objective for Phase I is to articulate feasibility of our autonomous information processing capabilities and illustrate how our software solution can be leveraged within the commandONE application layer architecture to benefit mission requirements. To this end, specific Technical Objectives of this project are: 1) Show data standardization feasibility among commandONE applications – possible via Intelligent Artifacts’ general data format (GDF), 2) Illustrate integration between ABMS applications, sensors, data libraries, access devices – possible via Intelligent Artifacts’ framework built on loosely coupled layers (data, intelligence, application) and simple API calls, 3) Showcase Verification & Validation (V&V) – possible via Intelligent Artifacts’ explainable information processing system with ability for human-in-the-loop influence to independently test/optimize multi-objective use cases and 4) Illustrate an accelerated path to autonomous persistent-Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR)/C2 – possible via Intelligent Artifacts’ solution in a containerized construct embedded at various nodes of the battle management space.
