Description

Traditionally, common operational pictures (COPs) have focused on portrayal of GEOINT products. Warfighters need situational awareness of the cyber domain merged with these products. Elements of interest in cyberspace include computer systems, networks, network-enabled systems, and the electromagnetic spectrum. To support mission command, operators need processing tools that are adaptive to new and changing information. To address this critical need, Intelligent Automation, Inc. proposes to conduct a feasibility study of cyber-related information using a modular open system approach for ascertaining integration techniques and platforms that can provide operators the tools for rapidly integrating existing and emerging data faster than adversaries. The study will focus on the development of a Composable Software Integration platform for assisting in the development, deployment, and orchestration of information from existing and new information systems with new and existing visualization tools. The key innovations empower operators to connect information systems to existing visualization tools assisting with transforming information and orchestrating information flows for improving SA and include (1) algorithms for identifying and analyzing information, (2) techniques for extracting and shaping information to a known format, (3) tools the disseminate information to endpoints in a protocol and format consumable by existing tools.
