Description
Maher Advanced Manufacturing shall investigate the newly patented process developed by Huntsman to combine speed of wet compression molding with the increased quality of HP-RTM. Dynamic Fluid Compression Molding (DFCM) combines vacuum with dynamic mold pressure to achieve void free composite laminates. The process still needs to be characterized and evaluated for specific applications. In this program Clemson and MAM will collaboratively conduct this characterization and application development.
