Description
To meet the demands of the A20-118 SBIR solicitation (“Novel, Low SWaP-C Unattended Ground Sensors for Relevant SA in A2AD Environments”), we propose a novel approach which leverages a nature inspired design. The sensors leverage high volume low cost components to create units that are dispersible and disposable. The design will sense the spectral environment up to and including millimeter wave frequencies and record the information for intermittent relay. The teams enhanced network technologies will enable secure, reliable wireless transmission of sensed data to a data acquisition system. In Phase I, MaXentric will perform a study involving analysis, modeling and experimentation to design and estimate the performance of the proposed sensors. During Phase II, a prototype system will be developed, demonstrated and delivered.
