Description

Current Superconducting Quantum Interference Device (SQUID) technology is capable of quantum computing, however, its application is limited due to its large size, low-temperature refrigeration requirement, and high cost.  Quantum optical semiconductor-scale chip technology is promising but not commercially available yet due to the multiple challenges to overcome. Using quantum photonic technology, Maxxen Group team is developing a Single-Photon Source (SPS) to produce the critical elements for quantum photonic computation and communication at semiconductor scale. Our quantum photonic chip technology is capable of generating entangled photon pairs and quantum logic gate operation for seamlessly integration for a broad quantum application.  Benefit of semiconductor-scale quantum optical technology is making quantum photonic operation capabilities available to a broad application with its small-scale chip packaging. For commercial application, quantum transmitter and receiver will be built for quantum teleportation protocol operation using our SPS, quantum measurement chips and other devices.  Our target commercial markets are: •    Quantum Cryptography - Use entangled photon pairs from SPS chip for transmitter and receiver. •    Quantum Radar - Send entangled photons to targets and measure variation of quantum photon’s characteristics. •    Quantum Sensor - Compare quantum states between the original and environmentally affected photons. •    Quantum Computing
