Description

Flying squadrons need to reduce unnecessary paperwork for a host of reasons: loss, theft, damage, redundancy, human error and virus transmission.  Digital Records Management will transform and automate many operational flying squadron processes.  In order to address this problem, the proposed trial will research and determine the most efficient methods to obtain and store military flight record data, broadcast data to multiple squadron offices, and automatically generate administrative squadron paperwork.  The proposed objective is to develop a system to store flight record data digitally so it can then be leveraged to develop tools for automating tasks, planning, forecasting and predictive decision making.  Through this process, the system will eliminate possible human errors in data entry and flag commander-identified metrics.  The results of this study would be a clear and concise understanding the users processes and requirement as well as the most direct route to an API whereby MilKEEP’s system would gain access to the data.
