Description
Xenon Transfer for Orbital Logistics (XTOL) is a high-pressure Xenon pumping system, enabling autonomous ground and on-orbit fueling. A capability for Xenon resupply on orbit for electric propulsion systems will provide DoD customers with near-unlimited lifetime delta-V, giving their space assets the ability to maneuver without regret and maximize the utility and lifespan of their assets. New mission profiles become possible, such as flying imaging satellites lower in the top of the atmosphere to yield a significantly higher image quality. Adding Xenon to Orbit Fab’s current developments in chemical refueling will make for unlimited combinations of both high-thrust and high delta-V maneuvers.
