Description
The Polatomic Tactical Mine Neutralization Magnetometer (TMNM) is based on the property of Anisotropic Magnetoresistance (AMR). The magnetometers design will allow it to be attached to a small unmanned underwater vehicle to aid in mine neutralization when optical and SONAR information are not sufficient to correctly classify a mine-like contact (MILCO) as requiring neutralization.
