Description

Currently crewmembers on the AC-130 and various other ground and aerial assets, secure their gear with ratchet straps, bungee cords, and various tie downs. These inferior tools lack quick release capabilities when critical equipment is needed rapidly. With Tac Clamp, crewmembers and operators are now able to create a mounting and tie down solution in any area of an airframe or vehicle without compromising internal OEM equipment. The unique mounting capabilities and quick release design of the clamp allows users to hang their gear where necessary and deploy that gear at a moment’s notice. There are two quick release mounting points on the back and bottom of the clamp where gear, equipment, personnel, and secondary weapon systems are secured. In a quick reaction scenario, the end user depresses a plunger/button on the quick release and immediately releases whatever is attached to the clamp.
