Description

Virtualitics is proposing to adapt its commercial predictive maintenance and health monitoring system, Virtualitics Predict, to proactively assess Minuteman III parts supply, failure/usage data, and aging surveillance and operational test results in order to identify and address risk items before they become issues. The proposed Virtualitics solution will leverage available data sources to generate accurate and useful predictions using machine learning algorithms that will enable Air Force end-users to efficiently allocate resources (to include funding and maintenance crew time) to increase weapon system key performance parameters (KPPs) and prevent a negative impact to the critical nuclear deterrence mission. Virtualitics will build and test a preliminary model that predicts the risk level of each System Work Unit Code occurring in the coming month for each missile. The model would be developed with the aim of making predictions for each month including Weapons System Health, Component Failures, and Supply Parts.
