Description
Disparate and diverse logistical activities, heavily reliant on human interactions, with inherent communication challenges result in pieces of information everywhere and an enterprise view nowhere, the consequence of which is compounding tactical inefficiencies that erode strategic effectiveness. The Arrayworks team proposes a multi-disciplinary approach to address the logistical challenges faced by the Department of the Navy. Our approach will focus initially on creating a digital twin of the entire healthcare supply chain operating model by digitally representing the people, supplies, documents, processes and “things”, the constituent entities, as they exist in the real world. A proven Industry change management methodology (IpX CM2) will provide the requirements for the digital datasets used for the full lifecycle of entities (such as medical assets & supplies). In order to illustrate the platform capabilities at the far edge of the enterprise, a real-time digital twin will be created using SAS Streaming Analytics. This AI based intelligence at the edge will orchestrate logistics actions that deliver the right information, at the right place, and in the right way to enable decision-making and appropriate response.
