Description
Athena Security Inc. (Austin, TX) is a threat detection platform utilizing computer vision to spot dangerous objects and behaviors, like guns, knives, and fights. These alerts are directed to the proper authorities. The system analyzes existing security camera video streams, and sends alerts through video management systems, web applications, mobile apps, and other systems. Utilizing existing security camera platforms, the Athena system is easily integrated into current infrastructure to produce actionable human intelligence. Athena Security has raised $5.5 million from lead investors such as Pathfinder and is currently expected to generate over $1 million in revenue in 2020 from our clients which include an owner and operator of 120+ malls, as well as Facebook, Pandora, and a customer list of 20+. Athena Security's platform provides the USAF a deployable, adaptive active threat awareness technology that can be deployed in a variety of operational environments.
