Description
Bionic Lift, a Veteran Owned Small Business, offers the Skelex 360 exoskeleton as a commercially viable and transformative solution to improve working conditions, improve morale, and improve performance for the U.S. military’s Airmen, Soldiers, Sailors, and Marines. These improvements also demonstrate a high potential to reduce workplace injuries. This novel exoskeleton’s proven global track record includes integration into the Dutch Air Force, Airbus and other organizations with logistics, munitions, supply, maintenance, and other functional areas analogous to those of the U.S. military. Looking to the future, the Skelex 360 will provide a cutting-edge solution for military and commercial Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) firms, as well as other industries with labor intensive tasks such as manufacturing and vehicle repair, to name a few. To that end, Bionic Lift’s Phase I SBIR will evaluate the feasibility of integrating its exoskeleton with U.S. military operations and capture ways to improve it in order to facilitate further evolution of the suit with its patented Skelex FlexFrame technology. This will help the rapid transition to Phase II and subsequently Phase III, plus assist with ongoing civilian commercialization.
