Description
Protecting our precious personnel and equipment at air bases worldwide is becoming exponentially more difficult as adversaries deploy autonomous drones and robotic vehicles along with traditional human threats. Cobalt is developing 5GEM technology to leverage the potential of high density 5G infrastructure to serve as an illuminator for millimeter-wave radar for base protection and surveillance. The combination of passive multistatic radar with the high speed and low latency processing afforded by 5G (already slated for Tyndall AFB) positions Cobalt's 5GEM to be a cornerstone of "Base of Future" capability and concepts.
