Description

Core Parts, LLC proposes to solve the current turbine material temperature limitations by designing, fabricating and testing a ceramic turbine blisk. This effort will leverage Core Parts’ commercially proven PMA manufacturing process and supply chain to provide small engine high temperature turbine blisks.  Currently, Core Parts has nearly $1.5M in annual sales to reverse engineer and apply their low-cost manufacturing process to parts for Pratt & Whitney Canada’s PT6 engine.  The 92 FAA approved parts that Core Parts currently manufactures include extremely complex parts such as turbine airfoils.  This manufacturing and supply chain experience will be well leveraged to provide the Air Force with improved performance small engines.
