Description
Cornerstone Research Group, Inc. (CRG) proposes to develop a modular Compact Hardened Analog-to-Digital Translator (CHADT) that can transmit and receive digital messages over multiple communication platforms and translate command and feedback analog signals for legacy systems. The solution leverages a layered approach with multi-levels of protection to address extreme environment effects including strategic radiation exposure. CRG will leverage experience with modular, miniaturized electronic circuit design for sensors and power systems to develop a compact CHADT that will minimize structural impacts to existing missile legacy systems. CRG will partner with a commercial vendor specializing in radiation-hardened and extreme temperature solutions for the avionics, military/defense, and space industries. The team’s combined expertise will be leveraged to provide the Navy with a translator that will survive the extreme environment effects with submarine launched missile systems.
