Description
DARPA is seeking to miniaturize maritime mine countermeasure (MCM) sweep systems for incorporation into predefined unmanned underwater vehicles (UUV) payload volumes. This solution will address the currently cumbersome, expensive, and slow approach to mine influence sweeping operations. Corvid Technologies proposes to utilize our established simulation-based design and optimization process to develop an innovative UUV MCM payload to realize these benefits. Concepts will be developed, tested, and assessed based on the key metrics identified. Based on this process, the optimal design will be down selected for further prototyping and testing.
