Description
This proposal offers a solution to provide near real-time processing of large-format imaging sensors with a heterogeneous combination of central processing unit (CPU), graphics processing unit (GPU), and field programmable gate array (FPGA) resources. In phase I, evaluate several candidate devices, perform preliminary architecture and trade studies, and create a laboratory proof of concept unit to demonstrate the feasibility of the chosen architecture.
