Description

Chandah Space Technologies (CST) intends to submit for the Air Force Space Pitch Day. CST is developing a constellation of small satellites in geosynchronous orbit designed to address key problems faced by commercial satellite owners/operators in managing their assets in orbit including identification of anomalies, space situational awareness, and space weather monitoring. CST's business model allows the company to leverage US private capital to service both commercial geostationary satellite operator demand as well as potential US Government (USG) demand. Through Phase I of this SBIR, CST will advance its satellite design including firming up its integrated master schedule, and will engage with the US Air Force to determine and incorporate the necessary operational requirements for CST to serve the USAF as a purchaser of data. In Phase II, CST would utilize the funds made available by the USAF to reduce the overall risk of the program by enabling CST to develop and test prototype systems, and enable CST to acquire long lead items thus accelerating the development cycle.
