The integration of the Defendry Video Appliance (DVA), powerful AI system, watches all associated security cameras 24/7 to automatically detect threats including guns, masks, and intruders. If a threat is detected, entry doors are immediately locked to prevent culprit entry. Detected threats are immediately sent to our 24/7 human monitoring center for review. If a threat is verified, Defendry immediately sends a picture(s), description, and location of the threat to police, relevant security team, and anyone else who needs to know. Emergency notifications are received in a secure team communication app, making follow-up collaboration easier to manage and review. This powerful device quickly scans surveillance video streams 24/7 looking for threats. The DVA simply plugs right into the on-site security system. Users receive one or more DVAs depending on how many cameras need to be monitored. DEFENDRY’S PROPRIETARY AI SOFTWARE IS CONTINUOUSLY TRAINED IN A VARIETY OF ENVIRONMENTS TO ENSURE DETECTION ACCURACY IN ANY LOCATION. Defendry can connect to a client’s access-controlled doors so threats can be automatically locked out. The system integrator who installs the Defendry system will connect access-controlled doors to Defendry. Lockdown strategies can be customized so that whether a threat is detected indoors or outdoors, only the next level of doors will be locked to prevent further entry. Defendry’s 24/7 human monitoring center verifies detected threats, which prevents false alarms that can cost thousands. Defendry has partnered with multi-award-winning central monitoring station company, Rapid Response, which has been a world leader in monitoring services since 1992, to provide truly premiere verification and response efforts.  A verified threat’s image(s), location, and description will be immediately sent to law enforcement and the user’s team. Users can customize the alerts sent to their team and even include emergency response instructions. Emergency notifications are delivered to identified teammates via the secure Defendry SeeSay app.Defendry has been trained to recognize guns, masks, and intruders using surveillance videos of actual crime scenes and fabricated, life-like scenarios. AI training is included in our offering and is led by Defendry’s Chief Science Officer, Dr. Sean Huver, a PhD in physics, data scientist, and veteran of multiple Department of Defense DARPA projects. Fabricated crime scene scenarios are directed by Arizona police officer and crime response training specialist, Tony Sanborn, and multi-award-winning filmmaker, Kyle Malkin, using every major type of gun on the market, and comprehensive variations of masks, costumes, and permutations of actions.
