Organizations across the DoD/IC have too much data to effectively extract comprehensive actionable intelligence. Digital data is growing at a faster rate than ever and worldwide data creation is predicted to reach 163 zettabytes in 2025. To put things in perspective, that’s 10 times the amount of data that was created in 2017. Social Media, IoT devices, business data, streaming video and audio, and many other data sources connect a world of many languages and data types together. Orden AI is a scalable cognitive analytics platform that is designed to comprehend these massive amounts of data of different structures and types by processing the data at scale and creating graph data structures of linked data indexes. The resulting linked data is then used by Orden AI microservices to create analytics, multivariate correlations, and insights that previously would have required legions of analysts and data scientists. EdgeTide spent several years researching and prototyping different tools that would allow a system to obtain a deeper understanding of unstructured content in efforts to improve human productivity, communications skills and facilitating learning; improve reliability and maintainability of weapon systems; reduce training times and costs; improve interpersonal communication and leadership skills of supervisors; produce psychological or behavioral changes in psychotherapy; screen, select, or recruit personnel; and identify human engineering factors in weapon and training systems’ design and development. EdgeTide developed Orden AI, a TRL-8 technology providing methods and algorithms that empower an organization to unlock their unstructured content for machine evaluation, search, and analysis. Orden AI combines many AI capabilities with Natural Language Understanding (NLU) to create a system that can see, hear, read and understand structured, semistructured, and unstructured data.
