Description
Advanced phase modulation techniques, radio-frequency (RF) hardware, and electro-optic phase modulators for Stimulated Brillouin Scattering (SBS) suppression are proposed. An integrated approach that combines the development of RF hardware and electro-optic phase modulators that are optimized for the chosen phase modulation technique will result in a complete linewidth broadening solution. A priority of the design and development is dense packaging and integration to reduce the size, weight, power consumption, and cost of the overall high energy laser system.
