Description
Fibertek proposes the design and fabrication of a versatile low size weight and power (SWaP) phase modulation unit capable high frequencty signals with characterization and compensation of its own internal distortions to produce a pure signal upon the phase of an optical wave for the purposes of stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) mitigation. Along with SBS mitigation, the resultant deliverable device provides multifunctionality for a variety of signals including features such as user-defined signal uploads, polarization multiplexing, radio-frequency (RF) signal outputs, simple alternating current (AC) power support, ability to be synchronized, and a user-friendly interface.
