Description
FabSoft receives documents from multiple sources, converts the documents to data, and distributes the resulting information through software. FabSoft developed a Desktop Automation Driver that automates data capture and distribution from recurrent user-level documents. The Desktop Automation Driver tool relies on a simple Machine Learning approach to “train” the system for specific use cases. Upon receipt of a trained document, the Desktop Automation Driver automatically identifies the document, locates the field data to capture and store, distributes the data in accordance with business workflow requirements, and stores the document to the appropriate system or folder. FabSoft integrates the Desktop Automation Driver with existing Enterprise Content Management and Document Management Systems or can provide FabSoft’s version of those technologies. The Desktop Automation Driver frees up knowledge workers to focus on decisions and managing documents only by exception. Calculations show an average time savings of 240 hours per FTE per year and a cost savings of 12.5%.
