Description
The Littoral Combat Ships (LCS), unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs) and unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) work together to provide perimeter protection for the Naval forces. Maintaining persistent connectivity with such unmanned vehicles is critical to the success of the operations. GIRD Systems proposes to develop a novel waveform that provides anti-jamming (AJ) protection while support high data rates for beyond line of sight (BLOS) links in the upper HF band. GIRD leverages its previous success in high-throughput AJ waveform development to provide a robust, flexible waveform in the limited bandwidth of BLOS links. The performance of the proposed waveform will be simulated and demonstrated in Phase I.
