Description
TAK-X is a project for ACE teams to help improve communications and C2 in austere environments. This proposal will help ACE achieve significant capabilities and empower local ACE teams to maintain communication, collaboration, C2, and maintenance operations even in austere environments. The project will adapt COTs-based sensor platform technology to the needs of ACE teams and environments to improve mission effectiveness and aircraft readiness. The project will address challenges with communication and collaboration within forward deployed austere conditions. Further the project will focus on improvements to local networking, local sensor fusion, and local analytics within the austere site and between austere sites for ACE teams. The project will pursue three elements: ACE edge modular system for networking, communication, and collaboration Joint All Domain Operations (JADO) for local austere site teams at the edge, and for integration across COPs and C2 systems Tele-Maintenance that adapts to the limitations of austere sites
