Description
A radar platform is designed for detecting and tracking multi-sUAS in real time. The platform is composed by the multi-layer radar systems and the back-end hybrid deep learning based online signal processing system. The ground to air radar is the first layer radar for the long range target detection and tracking, while the air radar carried by UAV is the second layer radar for the near field target tracking. The multi-layer radar could work in different environments with numerous task requirements. The offline pattern recognition and online detection algorithms could reduce the computational complexity and processing latency. The simulation, indoor and outdoor testing results have proved the validity with the stationary and moving quadcopter (Parrot Bebop & Dji S900). During the testing, the K-MC1 radar is used as the first layer radar and EVALKIT SMR-334 is used as the second layer radar. With the existing platform prototype, Intelligent Fusion Technology, Inc. (IFT) will make further adjustment and improvement by collaborating with the academic partner-University of Nevada, Reno. IFT will also engage with AF Special Tactics and Special Reconnaissance and loyal AFRL customers, combine, create, and collaborate with industry and government partners, and open marketing pipelines to stream this technology.
