Description

The battlefield of today is much different than those of even 10 years ago. Because of the very dynamic nature of smaller engagements, rapid troop and infrastructure movement is critical. The US Army’s high level objectives and published road maps for the future state that rapid movement of tactical, mission essential assets is a very high priority. Clearly, the ability to move these assets rapidly within a variety of deployment and landscape scenarios is critical. Because of the austere environments in which these systems operate, high reliability and ruggedness are baseline necessities. To meet these demands, a system that is safe, simple to operate and that can be rapidly deployed/stowed with a minimum of human resources is required. Further, if the system cannot be transported by air, ship, rail and truck without specialized material handling equipment (MHE), it will impose an unnecessary logistics burden on the supply chain. In short, if a portable VMECoP system is not safe, easy to operate, flexible in how/where it can be deployed, and easily transportable and inexpensive, it will be much less useful in bringing the fight to our enemies who have proven to be extremely agile. IS4S is an industry leader in the integration of existing and custom subsystems to provide novel and innovative integrated solutions. Our experience in combining rugged Military inflatable air beam shelter (IABS) technology in custom configurations which are integrated into fully deployable systems is unequaled. Because we do not manufacture and sell products which a solution must use, we are in a unique position to identify, procure, test, integrate and field purpose built systems with minimal technical risk, lower cost, and in less time than any other provider. This also means that we are willing to provide an unencumbered technical data package and compete for any production related contract against anyone in the world. Our experience in the development of specialized personnel and asset protection systems deployed on Military ground vehicles and aircraft uniquely qualifies us to develop and provide the VMECoP solution.
