Description
In Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), information sharing is very important for enhancing collaborative operations as well as for supporting flexible mission objectives. The information sharing may require different security classification levels, while information should be delivered accordingly. To address this critical need, Intelligent Automation, Incorporated (IAI), proposes to develop a Cross-Domain Security Policies Server (CdSPS) framework. CdSPS provides UAS resource access separation, based on different client security classifications and mission needs. CdSPS solution is an integrated system of hardware and software that enables an information exchange among different security domains. CdSPS architecture is a flexible and scalable framework implemented on the top of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software/hardware environments. All shared information (e.g., data and commands) are associated with a proper classification level in CdSPS. Every message both inbound and out bound in CdSPS are tagged with security classification labels. Altogether, the resultant CdSPS framework enforces the access and secure the information sharing in UAS properly.
