Description
AI-based solutions can perform a number of functions to support Integrated Air and Missile Defense systems. The integration and simultaneous execution of multiple AI solutions requires the design of a robust framework that can ingest and process large amounts of data, run several AI models, and enable model training and optimization in a single platform. The proposed architecture should be flexible and scalable to allow the implementation of new AI-based functions and seamless consolidation with Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) systems. To address the need for such AI overarching framework, Intelligent Automation Inc. proposed to design and develop MERIDA – Modular Engine for Robust Intelligent Defense Architecture. MERIDA provides the algorithm engine and the necessary scalable framework to enhance mission planning and execution with AI-based services while promoting efficient use of computational resources.
