Description
To meet the demands of the A19-029 SBIR solicitation (“Wideband, Programmable, Multifunctional Transmitter/Receiver (TRX) Module”), we propose a novel approach which leverages our wideband front-end technology and previous experience developing TRX modules. The system will support fast hopping (FHSS) via a novel architecture approach. Furthermore, a wideband, high efficiency custom RF power amplifier will be leveraged to minimize the size, weight and power of the system. In Phase I, MaXentric performed a study involving analysis, modeling and experimentation to design and estimate the performance of the proposed TRX module. During Phase II, a prototype system will be developed, demonstrated and delivered.
